Glam Night after Carmen

The curtain falls, the applause dies down. Three hours filled with music, stories, powerful emotions and imagery are behind us – and suddenly it’s all over. Put on your coat, head out, go home. But what if you fancy an encore? Another chat, a drink, new encounters, music and dancing? To let the evening linger on a little longer? That’s exactly what the Glam Night is for. The music carries on straight after the final curtain call. The foyer opens its doors, and the end of the performance becomes the evening’s encore. After all, where better to extend an evening at the opera than here with us? Our foyer is tailor-made for bringing people together: spacious, open and full of character. A place to meet, linger and carry on the celebrations. And if we’re extending the evening, then let’s celebrate. With glamour! Grand outfits, stunning looks, intense emotions. Dig out of your wardrobe what otherwise rarely gets a chance to shine: black tie, cocktail dresses, sequins, silk, colour, glitter – or simply your very own personal twist. Because glamour isn’t a dress code. Glamour is a feeling, a vibe.

Glittering curtains, a disco ball, lights and haze transform our foyer. DJ Kataya is ready – and if your look needs that final touch, Shan Rahimkhan and his team are here for you. Before the performance, during the interval and afterwards, you can pop into the Styling Corner. Together with MAC Cosmetics, your look will get the finishing touches – or even a little makeover.

There’ll also be drinks, dancing and a special drink from the Deutsche Oper restaurant.
